Historical ownership polls only after unbilled HTTP 202 responses and stops at the first billable HTTP 200. Financial source URLs expire after about 30 minutes and should be used immediately.
- Get Credit Usage
Check the connected OpenRegister account's plan, included and used credits, remaining balance, overage, and reset time. This request costs 0 credits.
- Get Document
Fetch an official Handelsregister document in real time for a company or retrieve a stored document by ID. Each request costs 10 credits. The tool returns document metadata and an ephemeral URL without downloading the file; use the URL immediately. Stored URLs are valid for 15 minutes, while the realtime URL expiry is not documented.
- Get Insolvency
Get one insolvency proceeding and its complete published event history, including linked entities, status, court, case dates, administration, distributions, and event-specific details. Costs 10 OpenRegister credits.
- Get Person Data
Read a person's profile and management positions or the companies in which they hold ownership stakes. Each request costs 10 credits.
- List Monitors
List every company and person monitor for the connected OpenRegister account, including disabled monitors. This unpaginated read costs zero credits and was verified as available on a free account. It does not create, re-enable, or delete monitors.
- Look Up Company by URL
Resolve a fully qualified company website URL to its OpenRegister company ID and available contact details. Each lookup costs 10 credits.
- Search Companies
Find companies by name or structured criteria. Use autocomplete for a fast 1-credit lookup, or advanced search for filters, location, and paginated results at 10 credits per page.
- Search Insolvencies
Search German insolvency proceedings by free text or structured debtor, proceeding, status, date, company, or person criteria. Returns one page at a time; each page costs 10 OpenRegister credits.
- Search People
Search natural persons by name, birth date, city, or active status. Each returned page costs 10 credits.
